My Services
Psychiatric Services in Brooklyn, New York & Wilton Manors, Florida
I provide psychiatric services in Wilton Manors, Florida, and Brooklyn, New York. I work with patients at all stages of treatment. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. I also work with individuals and families.
Anxiety Disorders
I evaluate and treat a range of anxiety disorders, including:
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Social Anxiety Disorder
Panic Disorder
Specific Phobias
Separation Anxiety
Other anxiety-related conditions
Assessment and Treatment
I begin with a thorough psychiatric evaluation to identify the specific type and severity of anxiety. Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both. I may use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) tailored to each patient. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Depression and Mood Disorders
I diagnose and treat a range of mood disorders, including:
Major Depressive Disorder
Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia)
Bipolar I Disorder
Bipolar II Disorder
Cyclothymic Disorder
Other depressive and mood-related conditions
Assessment and Treatment
I start with an evaluation to understand your symptoms, history, and any factors that may be affecting your mood. Treatment is tailored to your needs and may include therapy, medication, or both. I adjust treatment based on how you respond, and I may use genetic testing to help guide medication choices when useful. Follow-up visits are scheduled to check progress and make changes as needed.
Neurodevelopmental & Neurodivergent Conditions
I work with people of all ages who are living with ADHD and other neurodivergent traits. This includes challenges with focus, organization, restlessness, impulsivity, and managing daily routines.
Common areas I help with include:
Pediatric and Adult Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorder
Asperger’s Syndrome
Learning differences and learning problems
Developmental delays and other developmental disorders
Pediatric neurodevelopmental concerns across childhood and adolescence
Assessment and Treatment
I start with an evaluation to understand how a person thinks, learns, communicates, and handles daily tasks. This includes reviewing symptoms, developmental history, school or work experiences, family input, and any past assessments. Treatment may include medication, practical strategies for daily routines, therapy for communication or emotional skills, and guidance for families or caregivers.
Child, Adolescent & Family Psychiatry
I work with children, adolescents, and their families to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. My approach focuses on understanding each child’s needs while supporting the family as a whole.
I help with:
Child and adolescent psychiatric concerns
Emotional and behavioral issues such as anger, anxiety, and depression
Parenting support and guidance
Family stress and communication problems
Parent–child relationship challenges
Pediatric psychotherapy for kids and teens
Family systems work and parent–child interaction support
Assessment and Treatment
I begin with an evaluation that includes meeting with the child or teen and, when helpful, the family. I help families understand patterns that may be causing stress and offer practical strategies to improve communication, routines, and behavior. Follow-up visits provide ongoing support as the child grows. We review progress, adjust the plan as needed, and work on building healthier relationships and coping skills.
Obsessive, Compulsive & Trauma-Related Disorders
I work with individuals who experience intrusive thoughts, repetitive behaviors, trauma reactions, or stress-related symptoms that interfere with daily life. I help diagnose and treat:
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors
Tics and Tourette-related concerns
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Trauma from past events, including childhood or family-related trauma
Stress reactions that affect mood, sleep, or behavior
Assessment and Treatment
I start with an evaluation to understand symptoms, history, and how these issues affect daily life, relationships, or work and school. Treatment is personalized and may include therapy, coping strategies, and medication when needed. I use practical approaches to help reduce distress, build resilience, and feel more grounded. For trauma, we work at a pace that feels safe.
Asperger’s Syndrome (Autism Spectrum – Level 1)
I work with individuals who experience differences in social communication, sensory processing, or patterns of thinking and behavior associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including Asperger’s Syndrome. Support focuses on understanding strengths while addressing challenges that may interfere with daily life. I help assess and support:
Social communication differences: Difficulty with social cues, conversation flow, or understanding unspoken rules
Restricted or focused interests: Intense interests, need for routine, or difficulty with transitions
Sensory sensitivities: Heightened or reduced sensitivity to sound, light, touch, or textures
Emotional regulation and anxiety: Stress, overwhelm, or anxiety related to social situations, change, or expectations
Executive functioning challenges: Organization, planning, time management, or flexibility
Assessment and Support
I begin with a comprehensive evaluation to understand individual traits, strengths, challenges, and how they impact daily functioning at school, work, or in relationships. Support is personalized and may include skills-based therapy, practical coping strategies, social communication support, and coordination of care when needed. My approach is supportive, respectful, and collaborative, focusing on building self-understanding, confidence, and tools to navigate life more comfortably and effectively.
